		<description>Poor thing! I&#039;m glad it sounds like a mild case. Just to warn you, IME croup gets worse before it gets better. (Ryan had it about 5 or 6 times.) The best thing to relieve the inflammation of the airway is cold steam (close the bathroom door, turn on a hot shower until the bathroom is steamy, then turn it off and go sit in the bathroom while it cools down--or go outside and breathe in the dewy, cool night air).
