Three Good Things for the day:

  1. I finished reading another book that I loved. No, I didn’t read it in one day – it was just one of those books where I read a chapter here and there for many months. Excellent.
  2. I played The Exchange Game (Montessori Math exercise) with Sammy and our au pair, Ale. We’d never played with a third, and it was fun because Ale brought up new ways for Sam to think about the numbers. And Ale won!
  3. I fed Zoe her dinner (although I didn’t cook it). Being in the cast prevents me from doing just about everything with the babies, but I can feed them. Tonight, Zoe worked on using her fork and got angry at me for not putting the exact right items on her tray at the right time, and made silly faces and ate broccoli and fish and cheese and then told me, “all done” with her sign language. I tried to hold her for a while, but she squirmed away, that little stinker.
